Starting from this situation, the CEO of Omni Hospitals Group Shrikanth stated that he focused on early detection services with low-dose CT scans (Low Dose Computed Tomography or LDCT) that were able to detect lung abnormalities effectively.
"The goal is to provide a better prognosis for treatment and prevent the disease from developing into a more serious phase," he said through written information on Wednesday (07/04/2019).
Omni Hospitals Group Director Dr. Num Tanthuwanit added, in addition to early detection of lung cancer, LDCT is also able to show Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring, which is one indicator of coronary heart disease.

Recent research conducted in Europe (NELSON trial) shows that LDCT screening has greater benefits and reduces lung cancer deaths by 26% in men and up to 61% in women. { Source }
