Wolff Affirms the Future of Bottas in Mercedes Not Safe
The principal team of Mercedes Petronas AMG, Toto Wolff, commented on the future of one of the drivers, namely Valtteri Bottas. Wolff emphasized that the future of Bottas with the Mercedes Team is not yet safe, despite appearing impressive in the Formula One (F1) season 2019.
As is known, Bottas is indeed carrying out his campaign in F1 this season with an outstanding performance. Even from the nine races that have passed in F1 2019, Bottas was able to finish eight of them with a podium finish.
Bottas himself currently still occupies the second position in the F1 2019 drivers' standings with 166 points or 31 points adrift of the tandem, Lewis Hamilton. He is also still touted as one of the candidates for the F1 2019 world champion.
Despite showing a promising performance chart, Bottas' future with Team Mercedes is actually not safe. Moreover, after Wolff said that the Finnish driver must be able to maintain his performance if he wants to be maintained for next season. { Source }
