The production process of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings films has to be delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic. The director, Destin Daniel Cretton, even had to enter the treatment and isolation room.
Destin previously carried out the Shang-Chi production process in Australia. He was encouraged to isolate himself because a few days earlier Tom Hanks was also positive for the COVID-19 virus in the Kangaroo Country.
Destin, our director, has a newborn baby. He is very careful, given the current environment and decided to test COVID-19 today. He is currently doing self-isolation under the recommendation of a team of doctors," said a crew member.
Thus, the production process will be postponed until the COVID-19 test results from Destin come out next week. While some crew and players are also advised to take part in the test to avoid Corona.
Shang-Chi itself stars Simu Liu, Awkwafina, and Tony Leung. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is the first Disney movie dominated by Asian players and will be released on February 12, 2021. ( Source )
