    According to Jonan, the UAE is also interested in exploring cooperation in other sectors. The targeted sectors besides energy include infrastructure, finance, and tourism. This step is claimed to be able to help government efforts in opening jobs in Indonesia.

    "We are trying to improve cooperation. It does not have to be in the oil and gas and mining sectors. For example infrastructure, financial sector, tourism or SME financing," he explained.

    A similar response was also shown by the Government of the PEA which showed the seriousness of investing in Indonesia. "We don't see a small investment here, we collect joint investments combined in a multi-billion dollar action plan for UAE investment in Indonesia," Minister Suhail said.

    The PEA government, said Minister Suhail, said that Indonesia had extraordinary economic potential. "Indonesia is in the 16 countries with the largest economy in the world. It even has the potential to become the world's top 10," said Minister Suhail.

    One of the potential cooperation that can be worked on is in the upstream oil and gas sector. Especially with Pertamina in order to increase Indonesia's oil and gas production. "The United Arab Emirates hopes to discuss with Pertamina about increasing investment and developing more oil and gas fields to increase oil and gas production," said Minister Suhail.

    In addition, PEA also shows an interest in doing business in the Renewable Energy (EBT) sector. Moreover, the United Arab Emirates has a company engaged in the EBT industry, namely Masdar. "We have a company called Masdar, which has invested in many countries, they are leaders and have the ability to reduce the cost of renewable energy," he said. { Source }
