    Two post-credit scenes in Spider-Man: Far From Home give a lot of clues to Spider-Man's future and Phase 4 Marvel Cinematic Universe.

    Spider-Man: Far From Home has a heavy burden as a post-Avengers: Endgame movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This film not only has to continue the story of the Endgame, but also must provide a significant story for Peter Parker. As the end of Phase 3, Spider-Man: Far From Home was also assigned to lay the foundation for the Phase 4 MCU which will officially begin next year.

    Director Spider-Man: Far From Home, Jon Watts, has smartly built that foundation. Good for Spider-Man's future as a solo film and also for the Phase 4 MCU in general. All of that was revealed in the two post-credit scenes of the film.

    The first post-credit scene is a sequel to the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home. After inviting his girlfriend, MJ (Zendaya), hanging between tall buildings in New York, Spider-Man (Tom Holland) drops MJ on a sidewalk, right in front of a large screen. Spider-Man stands on a pole when the giant screen lights up with an important announcement delivered by J Jonah Jameson (JK Simmons), editor in chief of the Daily Bulge news site.

    A video is then played by showing Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) who reveals Spider-Man's true identity as Peter Parker. In this scene, the question arises, whether Quentin Beck aka Mysterio has really died in London or is still alive. If Mysterio is really dead, then he managed to reach his wish, namely injuring the name and legacy of Tony Stark because he called Peter Parker an evil figure. In the video, Spidey is seen killing Mysterio in cold blood.

    Meanwhile, the presence of JK Simmons as J Jonah Jameson was a surprise. Jon seems to have succeeded in making Simmons again play the character he played in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy in the 2002-2007 era. However, at Far From Home, Jameson was described as a member of the conservative media with extreme views who hosted an online news show. Meanwhile, Jameson's hatred of Spider-Man was very visible. For the record, Jameson's role is very close to Simmons, so Marc Webb (director of The Amazing Spider-Man) and Jon decided not to cast this role. With Simmons in the Far From Home post-credit scene, there is a possibility that he will appear on Spider-Man 3.

    The question that arises is, does Peter Parker really can't keep his secret identity well? Now everyone knows who he is and he clearly puts all those close to him in danger. Not to mention they thought he was a murderer. It is building a stage for Spider-Man 3 that will obviously be interesting.

    Not only that. Spider-Man: Far From Home's second post-credit scene is equally interesting. This scene is the answer to what will happen in the upcoming Phase 4 MCU. From this scene, it is clear that the MCU will go into a cosmic adventure.

    In the scene, it was revealed that Nick Fury and Maria Hill who worked with Peter Parker and Mysterio in Europe were actually Skrull leaders, Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) and his wife (Sharon Blynn). Both times were first introduced in the Captain Marvel film released earlier this year. After their mission in Europe was completed, Talos reported to the original Nick who was in a place commandeering a ship that was manned by Skrull. From here, quoted from ComicBook.com, there are two theories for the story of the future of the Phase 4 MCU, namely:

    SWORD Agent
    In Marvel Comics, extraterrestrial threats finally made SHIELD form a branch called SWORD that was assigned to protect the earth from alien threats. This body is headed by a woman named Abigail Brand and is in the space station called Peak. In the end, SHIELD and SWORD cannot unite. So, it makes sense that now SWORD is appearing at the MCU because of Thanos's invasion and the Blip incident — the term for the flick of Thanos's finger that eliminates half the population in the Avengers: Infinity War — making Nick think of a larger, galactic "Homeland Security."

    The underlying theory is Spider-Man: Far From Home introduces the SWORD MCU version after Disney acquired Fox. For information, SWORD and its characters were under Fox's auspices, so this body can only be introduced after Fox's acquisition of Disney was completed. Another problem is that Nick was on a boat full of Skrull and Skrull's agent disguised himself. It can provide many very different expressions.

    Since Skrull was introduced to MCU, many fans theorize that the famous Marvel Comics story, Secret Invasion, will be the next big story at the MCU. The theory swayed a little when Captain Marvel made a very different approach to Skrull by describing them as refugees who tried to escape the massacre carried out by Kree. However, Marvel Studios executives continue to open the door to this Secret Invasion.

    "Like not all humans are evil and not all humans are good, I think Skrull might have a variety of moralities. When they can do what they can do, it might be very tempting. So, it's nice to be able to introduce this concept and see where it goes, "said President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige.

    However, Spider-Man: Far From Home's last post-credit scene can also indicate another way. What if Nick Fury is the mastermind behind the different Secret Invasion now?

    Now, Nick already knows that the threat is really real in the galaxy and with many examples of how slick Nick is as a shrewd spy - it would make sense if the former director of SHIELD was protective of galactic security. As a great spy, Nick will need a galactic spy network to keep an eye on everything and find threats, and who isn't better than Skrull? Captain Marvel reveals how loyal Skrull is to Nick and Far From Home indicate briefly threats like Kree's sleeping cells still lurking up there. This could be a top-class spy chess game between Skrull and Kree which would be the story of the Secret Invasion MCU — and that could build a Kree-Skrull war in the MCU. { Source }
